DOLMAR GmbH located in Hamburg/Germany, a member of Makita group and the worldwide oldest manufacturer of engine chain saws, has recently developed a very unique motorbike. The motorcycle is 4m in total length, and is 300kg in weight, and 12 engines of 24 total are installed right and left, and maximum speed reaches at about 260 km/h.

On 2^nd and 3^rd of August, 2004, the test run of the unique chain saw driven motorbike "DOLMETTE" took place near Hanover. Continental put their test track, the Contidrom, at our disposal. Besides the DOLMAR engineers team, a large number of press, TV, newspaper and magazine representatives were present. Moreover, it was exhibited by Dolmarbus, and a lot of coming people's attention was attracted in the Garden trade fair that had been held with the cairn in September. Practical use is not scheduled at present.
