On January 1, 2006, Makita acquired Kanematsu - NNK’s nailer  business.* Makita produces and markets nailer as part of its main business of power tools. With this acquisition Makita will obtain Kanematsu - KNN’s advanced development and production capacity, strengthening its position within this increasingly competitive market sector.
