A New Plant Completed at Our China Plant

We operate plants in eight countries worldwide. The production volume at these overseas plants accounts for about 90% of our total output.
We are pleased to announce that a new plant, which was under construction at the Makita China Plant, has been completed to increase the supply of cordless products, whose global demand has been growing. On December 22, 2021, the completion ceremony was held with much fanfare, though the number of participants was limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We will further increase our production capacity to quickly manufacture and supply products to meet the growing demand.
