Cumulative production reaches 10 million units at our Thailand plant

In January 2020, cumulative production reached 10 million units at Makita’s Thailand plant.
Our plant in Thailand began full-scale production in July 2012 as our tenth production base, with our eyes to the expanding demand in the Southeast Asian market.
The plant has production capacity of 200,000 units per month, conducting integrated manufacturing from processing of components such as motors to assembly of finished products, and also exporting products to developed countries.
To help solve any future labor shortages by supplying cordless products, we aim to further upgrade our quality control and to perform manufacturing that can respond to any changes in demand.
