Cumulative production reaches 300 million units at Our China plant

On July 22, 2022, cumulative production reached 300 million units at Makita’s China plant. A commemoration ceremony was held with local employees. The model which marked the 300 millionth unit was a cordless glass trimmer (UR193D).
Our China Plant recorded a cumulative production volume of 200 million units in September 2017. Despite the lockdown and plant shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the plant reached a cumulative production volume of 300 million units only five years later.
Since the plant started production in July 1995, it has steadily expanded the scale of production in Kunshan City. All employees will make concerted efforts to further improve QCD so that they can continue to contribute to expanding market share.
